Installation Notes

  • The latest Service Pack is required to run Radix on Windows NT 4.0. You will need to install the service pack prior to installation.
  • A user with administrator privileges will be required to install on any Windows NT/2000/XP/Vista workstation. Once the installation has completed, anyone with normal user privileges may run the software.

Once your order has been processed, you will receive your CD via USPS Priority Mail. Version 3.51 – Aug 29, 2006

New Features

  • Email Module - Support for secure authentication methods (including APOP, NTLM, MSN) during connection to POP3 server. You can now access pop3 accounts (like Gmail) that require SSL.
  • Email Module - You can now move messages to your Inbox from the Trash folder.
  • Misc - Radix is now compatable with MySql 5.
  • Radix Database Manager - Database Schema Report.

Improvements

  • Misc - Loading certain list boxes with over 5,000 contacts was slow.

Corrections

  • Expense Module - Authorization rights were not being enforced correctly.
  • Invoice Module - 3 digit currency signs were not displaying correctly.
  • Time Entry Reports - When exporting reports to Excel or dbf, the client name was being exported as a memo field instead of a character field.
  • Misc - All fields of type LONGTEXT were changed to type MEDIUMTEXT.

Corrections

  • Contacts Module - When adding a new company from the Contacts module, the new company was not being saved.
  • Help Desk Module - Time Entry items on the Actions tab were not properly displaying the Billable status if it was changed.
  • Time Entry Reports - User defined currency symbol was not being displayed on all reports.
  • Misc - Capitalization of the first letter of the name and address fields is no longer required in the Contacts, Companies, and Invoice modules.
  • Misc - Modal forms were not respecting the Date Separator specified in settings.
  • Start Center - Icons for the Out Board and Suggestion Box modules were being displayed even if the user did not have rights to them.
